Synopsis: Looking to add a conservatory to a bungalow or property with a low sofit or obstruction? Look no further - we supply hipped and double hipped roof designs for our DIY conservatory products.

The standard height of the ridge on a Lean to Conservatory is approximately 2.4m and a Pavillion or Edwardian model is 3.4m. This can cause installation issues when adjoining to bungalows or properties that feature a low soffit. A possible solution is to look at a hipped roof design. With this style of conservatory the roof slopes back down to an appropriate height. We offer this style of roof with all of our DIY conservatories, the most popular being the Edwardian Double Hipped and Victorian Hipped. This style of roof adds a small amount to the cost as there is a requirement for a box gutter to be fitted to the adjoining wall to allow rain water from the roof to be channelled away.

We offer various sizes of aluminium box gutter depending on the size of roof and likely volume of water. These are made from aluminium ensuring they will stand the test of time. These are relatively easy to install and as with the conservatory itself are supplied with detailed instructions, a link to an installation video and telephone support if required. So If you are looking for to install a hipped or double hipped DIY conservatory we are sure we can supply what you need at the right price. You can view these products on line and our team are always ready to assist if you have any questions which have not been covered on our website.
